The FDA has approved two new, long-acting diabetes treatments. The first treatment is Novo Nordisk's Tresiba (insulin degludec injection) and Ryzodeg 70/30 (insulin degludec/insulin aspart injection).

Both of these new treatments are long-acting insulin drugs that only need to be injected once or twice daily.
